Ep 205: 10 Things All Podcast Fans Should Know
/This episode is not just for 10 Things To Tell You podcast fans, but for all podcast fans IN GENERAL.
You might have heard rumblings about the state of the podcast industry, as popular shows get canceled and massive layoffs keep happening at some of the largest audio companies. It's true that podcasting as a whole is going through some growing pains, and this is not just at the corporate level. Big and small shows are affected by these changes and listeners (YOU!) might already be feeling it.
In this episode, I'm walking through 10 things I want podcast fans to know. I'll share some backstory to how we got here, what is different about podcasting (and podcast listening) now, why your podcast ads sometimes sound wonky, and what I would tell someone wanting to start a podcast now.
I'm also sharing a little announcement about a big change coming to 10 Things To Tell You!
