Ep 8: Movie Director Jeff Tremaine has things to tell you

This episode is a little different because instead of asking YOU to answer a question I pose, I’m asking my guest the questions. There are so many fascinating people out there with things to tell, every few months or so I’m hoping to have a guest. And who else to start with than my talented husband Jeff Tremaine.

We’ve been married for 11 years and have packed a TON into that time, especially having our two young kids. And since I’ve been sharing on the internet for most of our marriage, I always get a lot of questions about our relationship and family, so we’re going to talk about some of that today.

Jeff is a producer and a director and we met on the set of his first film in 2001. If you care to hear more about his early career trajectory, check out episode #8 of my podcast Smartest Person in the Room where we talk more about how he went from being the editor of Big Brother Skateboard magazine to creating the cultural phenomenon jackass, which started as a tv show and became a series of hit movies.

Jeff’s new movie on Netflix is called The Dirt, a biopic about Motley Crue based on this book.

A few of Jeff’s other tv/movie credits:

The Birth of Big Air

The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia

Angry Sky

Rob & Big

Ridiculousness

Wildboyz
